Tattoos
I envy those who have money to keep getting tattoos... being an upper level student sucks. Lol. Hopefully I'll have the cash to get a new one by the time my 23rd birthday rolls around.
My hubby has 2, one is a celtic cross on his left forearm and the other is this awesome sketch he did of "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" but he added in the kanji symbol for Honor, and the Wheel of Dharma, then he did a cool frame boarder that looks like wood. The Tattoo artist touched up the sketch a bit more and did the shading, but the whole idea and drawing/placement of everything was done by my hubby. Which is awesome because it just started as a doodle, he isn't an artist or anything. Its really awesome that he got exactly what he wanted and it was all his ideas. Anyway here is a pic of his, because I love it so much.
Here is the left side- showing the kanji for honor
That's pretty neat. :3 I like the Japanese woodblock style of it.
Here are two of the rough sketches I did for my golden apple tattoo:

I have a color drawing somewhere but I don't like the way it turned out. I have probably 3 more drafts of this design until I'll feel like it's completely done. Sadly, it's going to be a while before I can afford it. My friends in PA who still do tattoos said it would be about $350 which I won't have until fall of 2013, and at that point, I'll be in school and not able to go home to get it done.
I'll have to get some pictures of the old tattoo ideas I have, or redraw them.
I want to get the key cards from the original DOOM game tattooed somewhere, but I don't know if I want them on my wrist or as "the world's nerdiest tramp stamp." lol They'd be really small--probably less than 2cm wide each.

The calf/shin seems to be a popular place for guys to get tattoos. My older brother has one on his shoulder blade and one on one of his calves.
That ankh is super cool! Love the design of it!
