Any ideas on recycling old knee boots ( snakeskin fabric) ?

Would it be possible to cut them open and make a clutch bag? I think it would be easier to tell if you could post a photo of the boots Happy

Dog collar style chokers, wristbands, watch bands... A clutch would be cute, too. You could make a whole matching set.
