Hair - long or short?!

I think on the long or short question. There isn’t one answer because not everybody looks good with the same hairstyle. It really depends on your face shape.

I think your hair looks cute on you ,but it would look like rubbish on me. I tried short hair and found I like long hair better on myself.

I'd have to agree with Spica because I can think of quite a few girls who have long hair and it really detracts from their facial features as well as girls who've chopped their hair off and look strange. Hairstyles vary from person to person.

When I had short hair I had tons of commpliments from women. They all thought I looked great with short hair and were constantly telling me so. But I never was complimented by guys and I never felt pretty. I think short hair can be really edgy and fun when cut right, but my luck hasn't always been good and I sometimes end up feeling really hateful about myself after I cut it all off. On the same token- it drives me crazy when its long so I never seem to win lol!

I keep mine medium length, to the shoulders. When its too long it bothers me

i had crazy long hair, then i had it cut off. and last year i had short hair, it was slightly longer than my jawline i think. with bangs. and i dyed it black for a while :p that looked good, better then the unkept long hair. now i'm letting it grow longer again, i want it to fall halfway to my shoulder blades (if that's the right word...i'm not sure (: ).
long or short hair really depends on the shape of your face, but i don't think you necessarily look like a guy with short hair.

I've been keeping my hair pretty short and I usually get complimented on how cute I look with it that way. I think I'm the only one who ever thinks I look like a boy... but then I don't wear make-up or girly clothes unless I'm going to be in public, so people don't usually see me on my "boy" days.
I am trying to grow it out right now, just to do something different. It's driving me pretty crazy right now because it's at the inbetween stage of "too short to pull back and too long to wear down without looking awkward".
It really does depend on face shape and hair texture... Most stylists I've gone to have been surprised when I've asked for a pixie-type cut "Are you sure you wanna cut that much off?" but when it's done, it always looks fab!

@StarLeigh yeah, I kinda got the same problem with the stage of my hairs!

My hair goes to the top of my butt, and I get TONS of compliments from guys. Girls are usually surprised at how healthy and long it is but I don't know if they like it as much as guys do.

i honestly think boys like long hair but whatever..I shave my head to 1/2 twice a year, most ppl thinks i look intimidating, it makes me feel confident, plus who wants to fuss with blowdryers and product...

Hair is a secondary sexual characteristic so a lot of guys will prefer it. However the haircut that makes you happy is the one for you. x

I loved my long hair but then i cut my hair cut off but i like it short but growing it back out.

my hair now reaches to the middle of my back. i think i've always had long hair, save for the few years in childhood when my parents thought it was a good idea/amusing to have my hair cut in a boy's style. i want to change my hair, but i am really scared of if it will look awful.

I don't usually use product. Eww bad stuff. Just taking care of it and braiding it is fine with me. haha I live in a town with alot of American Indians + Hippies so it fits.
