Who else makes shampoo with royal jelly?
I know that L'Oreal has a shampoo and conditioner set out there that has royal jelly in it, but I don't like to buy from them (I try to avoid buying anything fom companies that test on animals).
Before I knew they tested on animals, I used one of their at home hair dye kits and it came with a royal jelly conditioner and oh.my.goodness!
My hair felt soooooooooo soft!!!!!!!!
Does anyone know any companies that have royal jelly in their shampoo and/or conditioner?
I've been looking for a while but I've only been able to find L'Oreal and this dog shampoo (Groomers?).
Thanks for your time!
Royal jelly is a bit creepy and cruel to bees surely? x
How do you mean?
Royal Jelly is what they feed a bee to make it a queen. x
Oh, I knew it was the queen bee's food.
I've tried to research how (in deatil) they extract the jelly, but there's not much out there on it :o
I mean, I kinda have an idea, but nothing too solid.
There's no harm to the bees. They make far more than the queen larva can eat and it's perishable. The only stuff that's taken is the spare.
Bryony: The little larve on in the pic. reminded me of the monsters on Slither ;_;
Laurel S.: So there's no harm done? If there was (even if they killed the little baby Sliter monsters), I wouldn't wanna use it :o
It comes from managed hives, if they killed the queen larvae then the bees would die out as they are the only bees that can lay eggs.
Eeee Slither made me feel queasy, I can't bear slugs=/
