Learn how-to triple stamp with Peg from Peg's Crafting Corner and then try making a triple stamped card.
-
Step 1
Begin by cutting the piece of cardstock that you will stamp on to measure 3 3/4" x 4 1/2", 2 3/4" x 3 1/2" and 1 3/4" x 2 1/2". The easiest way to stamp using 3 colors of ink is to cut 3 sets of cardstock in these sizes and stamp the image 3 times. Doing it this way will make it easier to line up each layer when assembling. If you only want to stamp in one color create only 1 set of individual sizes.
-
Step 2
Layer 1 piece of each size on top of one another adhering them together with repositionable tape. You will need to separate the pieces later so be sure to use the repositionable type. Repeat this step with each of the sizes so that you have 3 completed sets.
-
Step 3
Stamp the image onto the first set in your first choice of ink. Once you have all 3 colors that you want stamped, separate each set.
-
Step 4
Now, cut a piece of cardstock that measures 4" x 4 3/4", 3" x 3 3/4" and 2 x 2 3/4". Using the permanent tape runner, adhere the smallest stamped image (which will be the center of your stamp) to corresponding size of cardstock. Repeat with each of the graduates sizes.
-
Step 5
Layer each of the sizes of stamped images together making sure to line them up on the edges. Adhere each layer using the permanent tape runner.
-
Step 6
Your triple stamped image is now complete and ready to make into a card.
