Oh de actie is sinds vandaag verlengt tot de 22e! Jeej!

Hoi! Ik heb gekeken bij de Plus maar daar verkopen ze het niet, misschien dat het wel verkrijgbaar is bij de grotere Albert Heijn. Ik heb mijn mutsjes niet gepast ik ben benieuwd want de een is groot en de ander is weer kleiner uitgevallen... dat ligt denk aan de draad dikte.
Het is jammer dat ik er 3 dagen geleden pas achter kwam dat deze actie er was en pas eergisteren zag ik voor het eerst de reclame op tv. De actie liep namelijk tot gisteren maar op de Facebook pagina is wel verteld dat wanneer je het maandag inzend de mutjes nog wel op tijd aan komen. Volgens mij is deze actie jaarlijks terugkerend en dat is fijn want het ruimt zo lekker de restjes wol op

No problem. The foam would be a great alternative, that was what I wanted to use but I didn't have any on hand. I think your design looks really good and quite similar to mine. Sewing the fabric would be great considering you want to wash it. For me I just use the cat hair brushes to get the hair off, but washing would be even better. The fabric I used was flannel since it was soft and pretty heavy but I'm not sure if they would be able to rip that with their claws.

Thanks do much for the comment on my kitty couch! I really appreciate it and no worries about the questions. I really never used a pattern, I just kind of went with what I thought was right. The frame of the couch is just cardboard held together with duct tape. The fabric isn't sewn on, it is held on there with staples where they can't be seen and hot glue where you can see the fabric visably. And here are the tips I sent to Jet H.

-Draw out a design before you start, it will make it easier when you start building it. Try looking at a real couch and build a frame like that.
-The cardboard frame doesn't have to look perfect since it will just be covered in stuffing and fabric will be put over it.
-Putting the fabric on is the hardest part and takes time, but keep going cause it will look great.
-And lastly, make the couch big. My cats love to stretch out and relax.

Yes I do have a pattern for the crochet hat i made..I picked up a booklet by Bernat at my local Joann's store quite a while ago, and finally was able to get the hang of the pattern lingo (thanks to my Mom).
