When did you first start knitting / crocheting and where did you learn?
When I grew up, we lived as a large family on a farm, including our grandparents. I was pretty young when I learnt to knit and crochet.
My grandmother taught my just about everything, knitting, crochet, embroidery, cooking, baking, the works. She could do just about anything, and loved to share.
She tried to teach me to sew, but that is the one thing I could never quite get down properly.
Can you remember the first thing you made?
I remember very well the first thing I knitted. It was blue knitted squares and rectangles, that we sewed together, put some stuffing in, and it looked like a tortoise. With button eyes. :)
Who are your favourite pattern designers and celebrity knitters & crocheters?
I would not say I have any favourite designers, but I met the talented Olympia Barka online (aka Garter Stitch Witch) and absolutely adore her work.

What are your favourite things to stitch and do you have a favorite item you've made?
At the moment I have so many favourite things to make and do. I love to knit, crochet, stitch, so much more. I like to knit scarves and shawls, hats, mittens, socks. I like to crochet goodies for the house, I also like to embroider and want to work on cross stitch again some time. I also try and make a handmade bear every so now and again when I get a chance.
What music/podcasts/TV shows do you love to stitch along to?
I normally watch series when I work and craft. I download the whole series, then I can "binge-watch" and stop and pause the show when I need to. :)
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I like to work with beads, and decorate jewelry etc.
I also like to paint when I have time.
