Carry small things you want to keep close by with your keys - you won't get far without them!
An easy way to recycle those little vending machine/Gashapon capsules and any spare charms or earrings that lost their twin. I didn't bother making diagrams because it's pretty self-explanatory but if I get a lot of requests I'll doodle up some step-by-steps. :3

  • How to make a recycled charm. Wonder Capsule Treasure Keeper - Step 1
    Step 1

On a flat surface that you don't mind getting a little scuffed, hammer two holes slightly off-center in the capsule lid. If you're going to hang a charm, do it to the other part too (note: the softer plastic ones work better; if yours is the kind that cracks/shatters easily, you might be better off with a drill).

  • Step 2

Open the jump ring on the key chain with your pliers (the one connected to the charm - I used a banging Puerto Rico one from the dollar store) and thread it through the holes. Make sure the chain/actual key ring will be connected then re-close the ring to attach it to the lid.

  • Step 3

If you're making a simple one, you're done! But for extra cute I decided to use a little fimo slime charm I made and attached it to the bottom. Just attach it through the two holes like you did the keychain.

  • Step 4

You're finished! I'm curious to see if anyone replicates this. Maybe decorate it with paint pens to coordinate with the charms? The possibilities are endless.

I love this! I love gumball machines! You could even use the charms from the machines to hang from it.
