There not so teeny tiny....
I made these to give to my fellow Programming Board memebers here at the University. They are simple and still full of love!!

Sorry I don't have pictures for the step by step

  • Step 1

Open any program you have that allows you to draw shapes, for instance I used Word but you could use any program that has a setting that you can draw a shape such as a heart. Or if you find a heart online, print that out and skip the next step.

  • Step 2

Draw the heart the size you desire. Resize move, etc. You only have to do this once because you will trace it on the other paper to make more hearts.

  • Step 3

    Print out your heart.

  • Step 4

On to what ever paper you choose, I chose regular printer paper because I could see through it, trace your heart.

  • Step 5

Pop in the Marie Antoinette DVD (not required but it did inspire me to use soft colors and pinks, purples, and blues, and because its nice background because they don't talk much so you can look at the nice images) and begin to decorate with markers, colored pencils, etc.

You can get really fancy and use clippings and the like, but I kept mine simple.

  • Step 6

Continue to trace and decorate, trace and decorate, until you have the disired amount and then cut them out.

I cut mine out without really paying attention to the lines so they looked off center. It adds a child like touch to them.

  • Step 7

Hand them to your friends and watch their faces light up!!

    Ejoy!!

I know it sounds funny but I never thought to make a heart longer, it makes it look much cuter. I love the plaid pattern!
