pull tab mania :)
i love upcycling i find it brilliant to have something that someone is throwing out and making it into something they love to be very cool :) this garden table was plain black and was being thrown out by a friend of mine. there is 589 pull tabs on it( the horror THE HORROR) the spray paint was 7 euro. thats all this project cost me! the pull tabs i found on the ground or was giving them by friends i roped into be alcoholics for the week so i could have their pull tabs lol im an evil friend i know :) hope you like it p.s the time limit is 3 hours , thats from the time i stuck the first tab to the table. it doesnt include the hunting for tabs like a craved goblin

Step 1
i didnt have a camera to show you what the table looked like before i sprayed it. choose a colour that you like and spray paint the top of the table, you will need to do it with a few coats and wear a mask when its all done seperate all your different colours out, it will be a million times easier for you in the long run :)

Step 2
i had a bottom of an old candle holder so i glued it into the center to hold drinks etc. then start with the outside and work in.( it helps if you do a dry run of what pattern you want first) i put all silver on my first line. it took 104 tabs i think. i used a spray glue so it went on almost like spray paint. so spray and put down tab as fast as you can as it dried quickly on me

Step 7
keep goin till you reach the middle. i made a tiny mistake with the gap there so be careful when you are doin it as mine is glued now and i cant do anything about it lol
paint the edges black. spreay around the table again with the glue and leave to dry. i will be finishing mine with a water proof varnish when im done :)
