• 

  Step 1

  Place the mascarpone cheese in a bowl and whisk in the sugar, vanilla and kahula.

• 

  Step 2

  Whisk in a cup of whipped cream and 4 tbsps of flaked chocolate.

• 

  Step 3

  Place the coffee in a mug and mix with hot water. Take 4 short glasses and break sponge fingers in to the bottom and brush with coffee.

• 

  Step 4

  Place some of the tiramasu mixture on top.

• 

  Step 5

  Add another layer of sponge fingers and another layer of tiramasu mixture.

• 

  Step 6

  Top with whipped cream and grated chocolate.

Firstly you can use ordinary coffee. For those who don't like the alcohol, you can subsitute this for additional coffee I believe...

couldn't you just use regular coffee instead of kahlua? i know the end result wouldn't be as nice perhaps, but for those that don't take alcohol, maybe that would work...?

This looks like a wonderful recipe, I will try it out on my friends. I've been looking for a nice easy one! Thank you for sharing As a fluffy alternative to the ladies fingers, I have used angel food cake as well when making Tiramisu.
