That's cool that you made small things for a birthday present. I made a tall box that opened up into four drawers and put little things in each drawer. Happy Also, I just finished something for another friend's birthday. The birthday isn't until December, but I needed to make it in advance because the hemp I used smells bad. xD
I sometimes just make things for fun and keep them until it's needed for a present so to me, that counts as making something for myself.
I used to have this amazing penguin hologram bookmark that I had, but then I dropped and lost it. Happy My homeroom (In case you didn't know, I'm still in school. xD)and name are on it so I'm still hoping to get it back. Right now, I'm subbing it for a heart-shaped paperclip that I made using a tutorial here:

Yeah! The studio ghibli moveies (the ones I've watched, at least) are great. I really liked "Spirited Away". I'll follow your suggestion and watch the "Grave of Fireflies". Thanks for the compliment on my projects. I have more to upload, but I need the borrow my aunt's camera firt. ;) Do you have anything you're working on?

I have indeed read the Hunger Games trilogy, and I really enjoyed them too! That's awesome that we both like the books. ;) I watched Totoro a few months ago so I'm still crazy about it. xD
