You Will Need

Step 1I snagged this ‘designer’ sweater on Winterschlussverkauf (super winter sale) for a mere €0.50…

Step 2I figured it would be a snap to repair the rips in the neckline & as it already had an awesome leather-zip…

Step 3my refashionista brain kicked into gear & I grabbed some leather bits from my stash

Step 4& chopped ‘em into a bunch of triangular shapes…

Step 5then stitched some around the neckline…

Step 6and added a few more

Step 7giving perfect mended-hole-coverage + a groovy new neckline!

Step 8I saved my father-in-law’s old wool sweater from the bin, washed it in hot to shrink it to fit me, stitched up the remaining moth-bites & added a couple of fancy schmancy quilting patches for purty pockets…
