About
Recycled sweaters into AWESOME skirt - katwise inspired
My friend and I decided to try the pattern of katwise on Etsy and instead of making sweaters we started out with skirts and LOVE them. After spending about $20 on MANY sweaters at the thrift store we got our scissors out, threaded the serger and away we went. Her first skirt came our perfect. Mine was another matter LOL, first one was WAY to short. The second one, the blue/ green skirt, was way to big. So the third time was a charm and it fits like a glove. I had my entire sewing session down to about 2 hours. I made it in the morning and wore it out that night. I plan on make MANY MANY more. After 4 skirts and the entire bottom of a sweater we still have quite a few sweaters left, but you can never have to many colors and patterns to choose from :-)
