Get sparkly with a glittery shrink plastic sugar skull brooch!

    Step 1

    For this project you'll need a template of a skull. I found one on the Silhouette store I liked but you could just draw your own.

    Cut the shape out of black shrink plastic and then cut it out of clear shrink plastic. Cut out the eyes, nose and teeth from the clear shrink plastic too.

    Fold a piece of A4 paper in half and place the clear shrink plastic on top.

    Paint the shrink plastic with mod podge.

    Sprinkle with white glitter and leave to dry.

    Heat both of the pieces of shrink plastic in the oven until small and then press flat under a book.

    Glue the glittery skull on top of the black skull.

    Pick out a few large gems and glue them around the skull.

    Add a few smaller crystals around the skull.

    Glue a brooch back to the back of the skull.

    Leave to dry and then it's ready to wear!
