That looks really great! I'd never have thought of sewing them on though, I'm trying to work out a way to solder them which looks good lol then maybe rivet the resulting mess - I mean mass (don't I???) - onto a leather project.

I can picture what you mean, solder the cogs into a design you like and then attach them to a leather project, but unless it involves a needle and thread I'm next to useless

you could also do this by filling a bezel setting with the gears and set with resin/hardener. get gears from etsy.
