About
Based on Steampunk Nerf Guns by bethany t.
Can you add a version of your own project? I suppose I just did.
This is a different version of the same Nerf Gun (Maverick) I did with my husband. This one is mine - all mine! I added some clock parts to make it more of what I was looking for.
Truly - it's awesome. I can't wait to see it in action.

did you get rid of the NERF logo? If so, how? O: O:

We used sandpaper on the logos, and any place we wanted weathering. If you use spray paint specific to plastic it's no necessary to sand them. I think we used a hammered paint to get that specific look.

Did you have to sandpaper anything to get the paint to stay on, or did you just spray them? Looks beautiful, by the way!

We took them apart and sprayed each piece. A little time consuming, but well worth it. We also sanded down the logos, and a few of the edges to give them a worn look.

Did you take your guns apart at all to paint them or leave them whole? Thank you

No offense taken. I think I had the same question when I first saw something labeled steampunk. It's sci-fi meets victorian meets industrial. But incase that's not enough, I think Wikipedia does a fine job explaining: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steampunk
