Mix and match your hairbands with clip on accessories!
I love hairbands but I only seem to suit wearing accessories at one specific angle on my head, so I decided to make a hairband that I could easily snap on and off accessories.

You Will Need

Step 1For this project, you'll need one fabric hairband, some snaps and a snap setter.

Step 2Decide which angle your hair accessories look cutest at and punch a hole through the hairband at that position.

Step 3Pick out a snap back that matches the hairband.

Step 4Use the snap setter to press the snap into place through the hairband.

Step 5To make the bow, with one end in the middle, fold the ribbon into a loop and clip in the middle with a peg.

Step 6Continue folding the long end of the ribbon into loops, clipping in the middle with the peg.

Step 7Once you've made four loops, cut the end of the ribbon, remove the peg and pierce through the middle of the bow with an awl.

Step 8Pick out a cute snap and punch it through the middle of your bow.

Step 9Neaten up the ends of the ribbon by cutting little triangles out of the edges.

Step 10Make as many cute little bows and accessories as you like.

Step 11Clip an accessory that matches your outfit onto your hairband and you're ready to go!
