Thank you a million times over. I did it and am so proud that I followed through....unfortunately it is wayyyyyyyyyy too big and have taken it in about 4 inches!!! I was taught old school about using facings and interfacing etc. blech, so I was a little apprehensive about the neckline but it looked fab. Oh well, I am going to make the dress into slouchy pants.....thank you so much.

Yay, good luck making the dress! I just folded the edge and straight-stitched it--nothing fancy. The fabric is thick so it worked out well.
