About
Yup.
You can make this crazy delicious treat with as little as 4 ingredients, unless you are an ambitious type or a food snob:) Then you can go ahead and make your own caramel for the first layer. But in a pinch, the bagged kind works just as well!

Step 1
Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease very well with butter. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
-
Step 2
Spread caramels in a single layer and put in the oven for 5 minutes or until melted.
-
Step 3
If there are spaces between caramels at this point, swirl with a spoon or spatula until you have one solid layer of caramel.
-
Step 4
Sprinkle caramel with half the salt, cover the caramel with pretzels, then sprinkle chocolate chips over the top.
-
Step 5
Return to the oven for five minutes. Remove and use a spoon to spread chocolate into a solid layer. Sprinkle with remaining salt.
-
