You Will Need

Step 1Trace a pair of your favorite shorts.
I had to adjust the waistline to my natural waist line since I used a pair of normal ride shorts.
Make allowance for waistline, and hemline seams. -
Step 2Pin to Retro fabric, making sure to keep lines running vertical.
Cut 2 of each side. -
Step 3Sew side seams together, and crotch line.
Hem leg holes.
Sew in a hidden zipper! (First time for me, dont judge)
And here comes the tricky part, hemming the waist line. Depending on your body type, you might have to add some small darts as you fold the raw edge over.
