George is his name
So my boyfriend and I love the Raving Rabbids in those Rayman games. W bought a WII Charger that had a Rabbid that held your controllers. Well we should have looked it up first before buying it becuase it is a horrible charger so dont get it. We were really bummed and returned it and then decided I should just make one and this is the results. I wasnt planning on doing a tutorial because I wasnt sure how it would turn out so please forgive my lack of direction or bad direction. I know he's too pink and not tan but eh you can make him however ya want.Hope you enjoy!

  • How to sculpt a clay rabbit. Raving Rabbid - Step 1
    Step 1

See so excited. Lol but I think ours came out rather well.

  • Step 2

I dont have a picture of this step, but I hope you will get it lol.

Just make a large ball of clay with your hands for the head and body trying to be somewhat proportioned. Look online for pictures for a guide or wing it.

They have really chubby bellies so if his tummy doesnt look like its poking out enough like a beer gut just add a bit of clay there and smooth it out.

You could put pieces of wire to hold the head and body together better and stability if you want but I found that for me it wasnt something I had to do.

Also be sure to give him a lil booty and a butt crack. Its hilarious!

  • Step 4

For his mouth which I'm sorry I dont have pictures of. When you make the ball for his head press your thumb into it at about mouth level and shape. It definately doesnt have to be perfect because they have a lot of facial features that look funny so if its not great dont worry about it.

    Step 5

For your legs roll a pretty good chunk of clay into a ball then press gently onto whatever surface your doing it on. and make little chubby legs that are basically the shape of that picture. then put a piece of wire into it and press into your clay body or just smooth the clays together.

For his arms get a chunk of clay and roll it out to maybe the width of a sharpie. For his "hands" shape little mittens. It may take a little while to get them looking just right but thats what its all about.

Now the ears! These are super important. You can have them standing straight up or bent a bit to the sides but ours seemed to look better more straight up, but you decide.

Make your ears into almost a spoon-ish shape, and have very smooth edges.

    Step 8

Make little clay balls for your eyes and they can be rather big maybe even bigger than you planned on. You could use pins or wire to make them stay in their correct spots if you want.

I also put a little eye lid below one of our rabbids eye which is just a cute little attention to detail that makes it look more real.

    Step 9

Make little squares for his teeth and using a pin is a must for this part because it will make your life much easier.

    Step 10

Then slowly push your teeth you've made into his mouth

  • Step 11

Do the same thing for his tounge. just make a little flat-ish but rolled little piece of clay and stick the pin through it and into his mouth.

Then bake for about 15 minutes at about 275 F ,or accourding to the directions for your clay. If your ears burn a little it will be ok because if your using clay like mine you're just going to paint over it anyways.

Then paint to your liking and your done! You could do blue eyes instead of red but I wanted him to look more crazy.

    Step 14

we had to do a little sanding on his feet to make him able to stand on his own but the sand paper was only about $3.00 or so for 3 sheets
