• 

  Step 1

  I started with this dress I picked up at the goodwill a couple months ago.

  Step 2

  Using my seam ripper I removed the top.

• 

  Step 3

  Then taking a pair of shorts I had laying around I cut out the shape I needed for the shorts part of my romper. I used the side seam for the side seam of my shorts and the hem for the hem of my shorts so I had less work to do.

  Step 4

  Unfold your short pieces and place them right sides together. Sew the open sides together.

• 

  Step 5

  Flip your shorts around and sew the bottom of your shorts.

• 

  Step 6

  Next take the remainder of your shorts to make the top of your romper. I flipped mine around so what was the top became my waist and the bottom became my top.

  Step 7

  Cut out the corners to make arm holes.

• 

  Step 8

  Hem your arm holes and along the top.

• 

  Step 9

  Turn your top inside out and match it along your shorts and sew.

• 

  Step 10

  Lastly I removed the straps from the original dress and added them to the top of my romper. And that's it~
