Mushroom Stroganoff Pancakes

• 

  Step 1

  Melt some butter in a frying pan, chop up the mushrooms and onion and fry until soft.

• 

  Step 2

  Add a few splashes of red wine. Add the cream and leave to cook for a few minutes.

• 

  Step 3

  Season with salt, pepper and any spices you want.

• 

  Step 4

  Cook up some fresh pancakes, or buy some ready made and then serve with the stroganoff on top.

That sounds good on Dutch pancakes, or crêpes, but I don't think it sounds great on sweet American pancakes. =P

How do you get the pancakes that thick? Or did you buy them?

Yeah, I bought them, but if you wanted to make some that thick then I would suggest using a cookie cutter.
