Step 1Crochet two Tangled Happy Stars. Find the pattern here...

Step 2Hold the stars right sides together. With a piece of yarn, about 36" long, whip stitch the stars together starting and ending 3 stitches from the bottom center. Do not tie off. Turn your star right side out and stuff to your likeness.

Step 3With the tail single crochet around the opening. Do a second round decreasing each stitch as you go. Do a third round leaving a space just big enough to slip in your dowel. Tuck in the tail.

Step 4Slip your painted dowel into the opening of the star about 3/4 of the way up. Hot glue and squeeze the opening of the star around the dowel.

Step 5Tie on your ribbons and secure with hot gule.
