Make an XL button-up into a cropped (corset like) top and a skirt, which can be worn separately or as a dress.
The skirts is not difficult to make, it's just the bottom of the shirt, but the top is cumbersome. I used lining, interfacing, and made bias tape to finish off the bottom.
