You Will Need

Step 1

Step 2Print the skull template, and cut out along the outline. Also cut out the eyes, nose, and mouth holes.

Step 3Trace the template onto the mesh (using a white marker while the mesh is laying on a dark surface works best), and cut out the outline of the mesh.

Step 4Select and cut sections of lace to use for the eyes, nose, mouth, and outline. Then fill in the rest of the skull area with different lacey patterns.

Step 5Use fabric glue or a needle and thread to adhere the lace to the mesh. You can add additional beading and pearls to decorate the skull as desired.

Step 6Use the finished applique to decorate a teeshirt, pillow, or duffel bag!
