• Step 1

  with size 10/2 Knitting needles cast on 60 stitches

• 

  Step 2

  with a ribbing stitch do 14 rows of knit one purl one

• 

  Step 3

  then 40 rows of stockinette stitch which is knit one row purl the next row cast of

• 

  Step 4

  fold rite sides together and sew the top and side

• 

  Step 5

  put it on your head and pinch the corners then sew fold the ribbing stitches up

ha ive never seen anyone make a cat hat with such a sweet and simple method nice.

Is the needle size in US measurement or in UK measurement?
It's really funny I stumbled across this today. I was just trying to think out a pattern for a knitted cat-ear hat. I think I'm going to make "adjustments" so it has an attached scarf too.
