Is the needle size in US measurement or in UK measurement?
It's really funny I stumbled across this today. I was just trying to think out a pattern for a knitted cat-ear hat. I think I'm going to make "adjustments" so it has an attached scarf too.

This is so awesome and it seems so easy, and it is! Plus it's getting quite cold so a hat'll come handy ^^

Sorry, what needles do you mean by 10/2? Is that 10mm? So pretty big ones? And presumably you just get any wool which is the right size for those needles.
