I saw an image like this on a search engine, and figured it was easy enough to make at home.
So yeah, pretty simple. All you need is basic stuff and the little wooden guy. This is definitely a cute decoration :)

Ok so first you will need your little guy. I found mine by the drawing stuff at hobby-lobby. Next pick your paint color. All I had that was not expensive acrylic was silver so that is what I used. A navy blue would also look nice :) Paint everything but the joints, or the other way around and just paint the joints, either way is fabulous :) Now let it dry for a while.

When it is all dry make your clay heart, and try to make it at least a little bit proportional to the guy ;) So to do so, make a little ball of clay, flatten it a little into a triangle, take a pencil and in the middle of the bottom of the triangle poke a little whole in the top. Flip it over and mold the ugly heart to a pretty part, or if you need to smooth out the edges :D Let it dry or bake it

Now Either paint your heart of get glue ready-- SO then your guy is painted and your heart is ready. Move your guy around and make a plan so he is in the position you want him to be in for holding the heart. Glue his hands together to make sure it will look nice with the heart. This part is really hard, the hands never want to stick together! Then glue the heart right on top of the hands :) Now wait for everything to dry :) I hope you like him and you know I love comments :)

Cool. I always wanted a manikin as a kid. They're used for sketching practice and together poses right when drawing figures but this is a much better use.

Cool. I love the contrast between the joints and limbs. Great job!
