About
Spruce up your boring humidifier with some crochet flowers!
I like humidifiers, but they are really boring to look at. This can be quickly solved by hooking a cute cozy!
Gauge: one flower measures 4 cm (1 3/5 inch) in diameter. The cozy itself measures 20 cm (8 inch) wide around and 18 cm (7 1/10 inch) high.
For this pattern you need to know the following (US terms):
How to chain (CH)
How to make a Slip Stitch (Sl St)
How to make a Single Crochet (SC)
How to make a Double Crochet (DC)
How to make a Magic Loop (if you don't know how to make a magic loop, you can do a *chain 2, begin in second chain from hook*)

Step 4
Now you need to join your first two flowers together:
Work the flower pattern up to the last petal. For the last petal: CH 3, DC 2 in same stitch. Insert your hook into the middle stitch from a petal from the other flower. Make a SC to join the two flowers together. Finish the flower pattern.
Repeat until you have a vertical row of 4 flowers. Join these flowers in the middle petals of the previous flower.
I don't know where you live, but here in Holland we have ceramic 'baskets' where you put in water and hang on your radiator so the warmth will evaporate the water, thus humudifying the room if that makes sense
