I like humidifiers, but they are really boring to look at. This can be quickly solved by hooking a cute cozy! Gauge: one flower measures 4 cm (1 3/5 inch) in diameter. The cozy itself measures 20 cm (8 inch) wide around and 18 cm (7 1/10 inch) high. Instructions

    First flower (flower pattern) : Begin with magic loop; CH 3 (counts as first DC), DC 11 in magic loop. Close circle with a Sl St in the top of the CH 3.

    second round: CH 3, 4 DC in the same stitch ( this is the first petal),

    slip stitch in first stitch, *slip stitch in next stitch, CH 3, 4 DC, slip stitch in next stitch* repeat from * until you have six petals. You end with a single Sl St in the last stitch. Cut off yarn and weave in ends. (the ch 3, 4 DC is your petal. The ch 3 counts as one DC)

    Now you need to join your first two flowers together: Work the flower pattern up to the last petal. For the last petal: CH 3, DC 2 in same stitch. Insert your hook into the middle stitch from a petal from the other flower. Make a SC to join the two flowers together. Finish the flower pattern. Repeat until you have a vertical row of 4 flowers. Join these flowers in the middle petals of the previous flower.

    Repeat steps 5 to 7 until you have a rectangle of 4 flowers high and 5 flowers wide. Joining the sides together: Fold the piece in half lengthwise with the right sides together.
