turn cheap ordinary shoes - into something of awesome proportions!
these are my second, and third pair of simple canvas shoes that i got at a Gian Tiger for $10.00 - that i have re-designed into a piece of art.

i started with a base coat, i find thats the key, it makes drawing / painting on the shoes so much easier. then i map out what i wanted to paint...and get to work. getting them to match...thats fun lol i take tracing paper for the the big important pieces so that they are aprox. the same size and distance away from the sides, etc.

then to finish it off i spray the whole shoe using a clear waterproof craft spray, that i found at a hardware store.

wait for them to dry, and your done!

thank you! i have worn them in wet weather, they do fine with it. obviously im not purposely walking in puddles, but the waterproof spray really seams to do a good job of sealing the paint Happy
