@Chelli: There's lot's of different theories on it. Mine happens to be that we're all every element, but your main element is the one you identify with most strongly. Most people just go with their Zodiacal Element, but mine doesn't work for me (I think it has something to do with being born half the world away from where I was concieved >.>) so a couple of friends and I wrote down all of my strongest personality characteristics, matched them to the Elements and found the one I had the most qualities of.
You could also always just ask all your friends (seperately) which one they think you most represent. That's how one of my friends did it ;D
