About
Adorable felted fox for beginners.
I love this felted fox that I found while searching around google because it looked simple and cartoonish, since I can't for the life of me, and will never be able to, felt a lifelike one. It was pretty easy to complete. It was originally done by Abby Emerson and is for sale on her etsy shop (http://www.etsy.com/listing/96722692/needle-felted-fox) Her's is much cuter and this is jus tmy version. Hope you enjoy!

Step 3
ATTACH THE BODY TO THE HEAD. beginning with the base of the head, stab all around the perimeter to just loosely connect it. Then continue to stab it all over to really attach it. Because I didn't want to seam to be really sharp, I stabbed with my needle more vertical instead of pointed into the seam to blur the line.

Step 6
ADD THE TUMMY AND MUZZLE COLORING. Taking a contrasting wool, grab a tuft and place it on the body. Beginning at the snout, create a half circle around the snout ending at the neck. Then take more wool and create an oval on the body. The best technique is the create the border first, then add more to the middle to make it more opaque. When it is finished, it should look like a widened bowling pin.

Step 9
FELT TWO EARS. Take a ball of orange and felt it in a ball shape. Then, with the ball on the board, pull one end into a point. Make it sharper by pushing the sides toward the middle. To flatten the bottom, pinch the ear between your fingers and on the opposite end of the point, carefully push the felt inwards. Repeat for the other side.
