Draw an owl shape from paper and pin it to one of your chosen coloured felt.
Step 3
Cut around the owl shape and remove the pin and paper.
Step 4
Draw and cut out a wing shape out of paper and pin it to another of your chosen felts. You can use your owl pattern in step 2 to help create the perfect shaped wings. Do this twice to end up with 2 wings.
Step 5
Once cut out, you should end up with 2 wings and an owls body.
Step 6
Again using the owl pattern, draw and cut out a belly shape in another coloured felt. (This is the one in lime green) It should be a sort of leaf shape.
Step 7
Then cut out two round circles for the eyes. I did this using white felt and a coin to get the right shape.
Step 8
Cut out two smaller circles to fit into the ones cut out in step 7. Then using a permanent marker, draw pupils for the eyes.
Step 9
Then glue the belly onto the owl using fabric glue.
Step 10
Then glue on the wings in the same way.
Step 11
Then glue on the eyes and cut out a triangle for the nose to glue on.
Step 12
After that, take a safety pin, open it and glue the non sharp side to the back of the owl. To keep it in place while it dried, I used the pen to hold it which I placed behind the safety pin.
