  • Step 1

    Melt cocoa butter and beeswax in a double boiler.

  • Step 2

    Remove from heat and add baking soda and essential oils.

  • Step 3

    Combine ingredients using a hand blender.

  • Step 4

    Pour into moulds and allow bars to set.

  • Step 5

    Keep in a sealed container to prevent it from drying out.

cool.. you could also make anti-transpirant if you add alum! if I remember correctly it should be about 5-8%, not more or it'll dry out your skin too much (I made some spray antitranspirant once)

work well wit shea butter too...I added some chopped lavender and vitamin E and it looks great!

I haven't tried it yet myself, but I think coconut oil would probably work instead of the cocoa butter.

Oops, of course!

250 grams of cocoa butter
50 grams of beeswax
50 grams of baking soda
100 + drops of essential oil depending on how smelly you'd like it

That's really cool... if I weren't dead-set on using anti-perspirant I'd try making this myself for sure!
