It's actually RED and purple. I didn't use rice to weigh it down, because I'm not using it as a pincushion. This is my first crochet creation. :)

Thanks, I had thought about making a whole set, but the second one I did ended up being a LOT bigger, so I took a break from that and moved on to something else. ;)
