Step 1
Im afraid I don't have any photos through the tutorial but I hope this patter makes sense :)Plus I know its spelt wrong at the top but I was having trouble changing it when I went back to edit. Annywaays..
For the Cup:
Round one: ch 2, 6sc in 2nd ch from hook. (6st)
R2: Inc into each st (12 st).
R3: [Inc , 1sc] 6 times around (18 st).
R4: [Inc , 2sc] 6 times around (24 st).
R5: in back loops only, Sc around (24 st).
R6-12: sc around (24st)
R13: Half st around (24 st)Tricky bit: the handle
R14: ch 3 across the top of the cup.
R15-21: ch 1, turn. Sc across (repeat 7x)
leave long tail when you've finished. -
Step 2
For the tea top:
Round one: ch 2, 6sc in 2nd ch from hook. (6st)
R2: Inc into each st (12 st).
R3: [Inc , 1sc] 6 times around (18 st).
R4: [Inc , 2sc] 6 times around (24 st).
Fasten off and leave a long tail. -
Step 3
And for the teabag: (optional)
Round one: ch 4
R2: Sc back in 3 ch
R3: ch 1, turn. Sc across.
R4: ch 1, turn. Sc in 2nd ch, half st in first ch.
R5: ch 7. Leave tail at the end. -
Step 4
To bring your tea cup together:
1. Sew the handle into the side of cup.
2. Sew the tail of the teabag inside the cup.
3. Sew brown top around the top of the cup.
4. As you get close to the end, stuff cup with stuffing.
5. sew up the hole and you're done :)
