About
for a quick and easy hairdo
my total was 12 sets of hairstick for a combined price of 3 dollars
the black hairsticks took a pair of chopsticks, black spray paint, silver ribbon, chain ribbon, and a hot glue gun
the neon hairsticks (yellow, green, orange, and pink) took a pair of chopsticks and my neon colored nail polish (best 5 bucks i ever spent)

You Will Need
-
Step 1
first you need your chopsticks (you can get them free at an asian restaurant or from the foreign foods aisle at a grocery store)
once you have the chopsticks you want to sharpen the ends with a pencil sharpener (this prevents tearing out you hair when you try to put them in)
-
Step 2
next you may want to cut the chopsticks shorter because they may be longer than the average hairstick (i tend to skin this step because i dont mind, plus im lazy)
-
Step 3
one trimmed you can paint them any way you want in any style you want (dont forget the embellishments: wire, ribbon, beads, charms, or whatever you choose)
