A Jump From Paper-inspired glasses case.
I wanted to make something that was functional and yet still cartoon-like for the Jump From Paper contest, so, inspired by their work, I made this cartoon glasses case from felt. It's very simple, and is perfect for storing your glasses!

    Cut out two rectangle from white felt, one 16cm x 9cm, and one 21cmx9cm.

    Cut out your glasses shape from felt and stitch onto the 21cmx9cm rectangle of white felt (not centred).

    Stitch blue lines inside the glasses to look like reflections.

    Curve the top edges of the 21cmx9cm rectangle.

    Stitch along the top end of the 16cmx9cm rectangle in blanket stitch.

    Step 6

    Stitch the rectangles together, using blanket stitch, and then stitch around the top of the curve.

    Step 7

    Add a piece of velcro or other closure to the end of the flap and where it meets the case.
