Halloween make up tutorial
This is a tutorial for the make up I put on my boyfriend for his Big Bad Wolf costume. I really like how the look turned out, especially with the teeth!

  • How to create a face painting. Big Bad Wolf Make Up - Step 1
    Step 1

Started with black grease paint and used a small, flat brush to draw on the eyebrows nice and thick. Then, using the same brush, I feathered out the paint up and away from the eyebrows.

Usuing an eyeliner pencil I drew on the lip outline so it was a bit outside of the natural lip line and extened it beyond the corner of the mouth, curlint it up at the end to about the middle of the cheeks.

Then with a combination of the same brush and grease paint I used for the eyebrows and black lipstick I filled all that in.

    He looks a little concerned by what I'm doing . . .

Lining the eyes with the eyeliner. My, isn't he a fancy man?

Using the same feathering technique as for the eyebrows I made a hairline with the black grease paint and flat brush around the edge of the face. Then I feathered gray over the black to give the make up more depth.

Next I painted the nose black and added a line that connected the bottom of the nose to the lips.

With the black grease paint I extened the eyebrows down along the outside of the nose and darkened the corner of the eyes. Using the same flat brush and gray grease paint I made the top of the nose gray from between the eyebrows down to where the black of the nose starts.

Loading up a big fluffy blush brush with white eyeshadow I created the snout effect by filling in the area under the nose, in the curve of the extended lip line and rounding the top of the white are so it ended just below the eye sockets.

With the same big fluffy brush and black eye shadow I filled in all the areas of the skin that did not have grease paint or white eye shadow, especially darkening around the eyes

Here's a pic of the whole shebang.

The second night we went out I brought the feathering in more so it kinda framed the eyes and separated them more from the white area. Unfortunately I have to picture of that :( but it looked very nice!
