This is a quick & tasty treat to make.
You could add raisins to the mixture or different spices to change it up.

You Will Need

Step 1Peal & chunk the apples.
Put into a pot.

Step 2Add sugar, cinnamon & mixed spice.

Step 3Cook on a medium heat until all the liquor that comes out of the apples is nearly dried up.

Step 4Pour into pie dish.

Step 5Roll out pastry.

Step 6Cut to fit the top of the pie.
Crimp the edges.

Step 7Add a leaf decoration using the off cuts of pastry.

Step 8Sprinkle the top with white sugar.

Step 9Bake in a hot oven 200 degrees for approx 15-20 mins.

Step 10Serve hot with ice cream or just as tasty cold.
