You Will Need

Step 1Chop up the apple into small chunks. Add to an airtight container, along with 2-3 cinnamon sticks.

Step 2Pour the whisky over the ingredients, ensuring that they are fully covered.

Step 3Leave to infuse in a dark cupboard for at least 2 weeks, giving it an occasional shake.

Step 4Remove the apple and cinnamon, then strain the mixture through filter paper (coffee filters work well!) into a storage bottle.
