I think some of the threads have vanished as the birthdaygram swap thread has vanished too - I've put a comment on the site board so that Cat and Tom are aware. Good luck finding a swap angel - I would say yes but I don't watch Dr Who :/

I think this swap will have to be a loss. It is my first swap that I have been left empty handed for. I really hate how people can do that to someone. I could never do that.

I might be able to, maybe? What were the parameters/requirements (number/size of items, where would i ship to, i've only done one swap is that okay?). I'm low on fundage at the moment so it can't be too big and i'm sadly lacking of my knowledge of new who (i've watched a lot of classic who, but i've only seen a few episodes of the newer stuff, i'm trying to fix that though... I do know enough about it that the term "swap angel" has sort of weird connotations ).

Hey, a swap angel is someone who steps in and helps out a person who was basically left empty handed in a swap with someone.
I sent out to GnotsJustGnomes back in mid august and he received my items, but has given me the run around on mine for months now. So I have basically decided this was a bad swap.
We did 5 Dr. Who items one was medium largish ( I sent a custom painted glass candle holder with dr who sayings on it that would light up when burning a candle in it.)
If you want to be my swap angel that would be nice of you. This is the first time someone left me empty handed with a swap. It really sucks.

The only time I've heard of someone ending up without anything from their partner, they also couldn't get a hold of them and apparently, their house had burned down. So when they managed to get online again they explained and yeah... Felt really bad. I'm sorry you're going through it and I hope that the person didn't just do this on purpose!

@TKRainy, I have actually been in contact but they keep changing their story and giving me the run around. Basically they supposedly have tracking on it but wouldn't let me have it so I could ask the local post office about it. Then the story changed again. So I basically figured out that they probably never mailed out.
I have heard of numerous people having this done to them since I have been a member, but this is the first time it happened to me. I am always very understanding but it is obvious when you were just left empty handed and that is intensely rude.
