Book swap

Well, HELLO there everybody!

The concept of this swap is really simple: we're going to swap 3 to 5 items that fall into the following categories:
- handcrafted books; you can write your own story and bind your own book, make a book out of your favourite quotes/stories, make a tribute book to an already existing book, etc.;
- make items OUT OF a book (i.e. an Iphone cover, a wallet, or items made out of book pages etc.). For those of you who are wondering: yes, making a book out of a book counts;
- book-related items: bookmarks, bookplates, bookcases, anything even remotely related to books.
Now the boring bit:

Think I'll jump in early rather than lurking for ages and signing up at the last minute!

Ship internationally: Yes
Favourite books/genres: think 'classics' rather than 'popular' (no HP etc), but rather varied - Jane Austen, Anne Tyler, Great Gatsby, The Awakening, currently reading The Picture of Dorian Gray and using an old train ticket as a book mark! But not adverse to a bit of 'chick lit' for light relief!

Harry potter (duh), Hunger Games (cant wait for the movie in April!!!) Anne rice, though I dont like other more recent vampire books, who will remain nameless... Nickolas Heap, humm what else, oh the Dawn of the Dreadfuls, Pride & Prejudice and Zombies! (the whole series of classics with a twist) Sense & Sensibility and Sea Monsters!.

Wow Pamela, that's a great idea! I'm afraid most of my books are in Italian though ^____^°°°
But I already received a lot of compliments for my library and I'm very proud of it, so... so be it: whoever signs up can post a picture (or pictures) of their own library on this thread. It's not mandatory of course, everyone is entitled to their own privacy ^___^

Graphics novels (V for Vendetta and The Dark Knight Returns are my favourite) Sci fi books (My favourite is Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?) Also love Harry Potter books (but not the movies) Terry Pratchett books and Ian Banks books. Also really into Skullduggery Pleasant and The Hunger Games at the moment. Dont like Twilight!

Shoot! I'm such a messy head, sorry. I had completely removed that I'm going on a tour to the Southern part of Italy with a Deaf theatre company these few days. From Thursday the 8th to Sunday morning I won't have any internet access! I'll just extend the deadline till Saturday so I can post partners on Sunday afternoon. Well, a couple more days to sign up! ^____^
