I'm always too scared to start properly until I know who I'm getting paired with, incase what I make isn't really to their taste.
I suppose I just prefer making their items especially for them, part of the fun for me is tailoring my makes to their particular likes.

i like seeing my partner, writing down the "rules" of the swap, looking at their profile for ideas and brainstorming for a bit. then checking supplies, maybe changing my ideas or buying new supplies.

They're basically 1-inch by 1-inch squares, and they can be made out of fabric, cardboard or other materials. Have a look at the threads, I'm sure they'll clear that up for you much better than I can.

Plus running a 23 yrs old scout leader around Seattle for a week and sharing the laptop !
Have to confess I was so weak yesterday.They had Halloween supplies in Target in the $1 section.I have paper and new stamps :0)

If we end up with an odd number I'm going to do a double swap -just cos I can and to use up the supplies.
