Horror Swap

its a making anything swap. Basically you take some of the things your partner likes and make anything you want relating to it( unless they say they dont like a certain type of item, I for example cannot have earings so i would not like them made)

So if you took somebodys zombie like, you could craft them a tote bag that is zombie insprired, or if somebody said they liked vampires, you could go with a choker that looks like a bite wound or something along the lines of that. Say that somebody likes a specific character like Lucian from underworld, somebody could make a felt copy of his amulet.

Nikki, we share a love for zombies...Have you ever seen the Zombie flick called AHhh Zombies?

I would like the min amoung of items to be 5, but once you get your partner and talk to them about it, you guys could decide to make more , it all depends.

opps, after looking throught the swap i relized i messed up and forgot to post my stuff >.< well here it is:

*Country, and preference of partner's country: Canada, would prefer to ship only in North America( but will if i need to)

* Favourite horror themed show, and/or movie: True Blood for sure is my 1# fav show, but for movies I love the monster movie Black Sheep & the zombie movie Boy Eats Girl,
* Favourite piece/pieces of horror literature: Any true paranormal books, Cryptozoology books & Horns by Joe Hill
* ( If applicable) Your favourite horror character, be it from a book, movie, or just a plain monster in general:
For general monsters, my favourite would be Werewolves( like Underworld kind, not twilight kind :p), Vampires, the Bunyip. And for movie/show characters it would have to be Selene from the underworld series, Eric Northman from True Blood, And The mutant sheep from the movie Black Sheep :p

I would also like to add that I would not prefer a lot of bright colours to be used if your making jewellery, as well please no earrings as I cannot wear them. And please twilight themed things, no offence to those that like it, but its just not my kind of vampire thing. 

I would love to do this swap but I'm currently doing the Harry Potter swap and the send out is going to be at the same time

If it wasn't the summer holidays I'd have more time and could do 2 swaps at the same time but alas my 9 year old is bored... lol

when is this swap closing and the send out date?

@PrettyKittyFire: the sendout date hasn't been set yet, we can decide to delay it a little bit for it not to be as the same time of the Harry Potter swap one.

@Nikki: the signup closes this Friday the 29th, while the sendout date has to be set yet, but my guess is it will probably be early September-ish.

As well, remeber guys that the item limit for your partner is a min of 5 any sized items ( but be reasonable with the size, not all small, but not super huge things) . Most people do 5-7 items, but you can talk to your partner about it, either if you want to do a little swap, or a fairly big one :p

Cant wait to post your partners on friday, for anybody watching to board, they will probably be posting during the day time

If you have specific colour preferences, included them at the bottom of the list.
Blacks, purples, blues,greens, reds.. anything to give off a creepy wicked vibe. Love when there is a lot of shadowing and muted colors where needs be, then a hint of brighter color.

Also include if you just hate something, like you would rather not have gore themed crafts for example.

The creepier the better. Maybe one cutesy one just for fun.

I'd like to discuss what crafts or art..

@Lorrie: the currently active thread for the Newbie/Vet swap is called "Newbie Vs Vet swap (New again)" and it's active as far as I know (I'm a Vet and never had problems posting there, could be a temporary problem).

As a rule of thumb, you can join other swaps only after completing the Newbie/Vet swap (Angel Eve wrote it in the swap requirements) but from time to time Newbies are allowed to take part into other swaps if they can be paired up with a Vet. Anyway, the swap host always has the last say on these matters.

You're more than welcome to join the Newbie vs Vet in the meanwhile anyway, we have a ton of new vets waiting for their first newbies right now

@Lorrie- I would consider letting you join this swap as your newbie one under a few conditions. I will take you as a partner so nobody else would have to worry about being paired with the newbie, no offence :p. As well, cause "sometimes" flaking does happen, you would have to send your package out first, and once its recieved only then would your half of the swap be mailed out. This is to prevent any newbie from stopping production of thier half of the crafts once they recieve something. If your okay with this, and nobody in the swap objects, we could work it out so this is your newbie swap
