Vicky O and I have finished our swap Here is what I got.
A huge Tree of Life pendant she wire wrapped, she thought it might be a bit big for a necklace ( I think so too, lol) So I'm going to hang it in a window so it can be a sun catcher. I think it will look really pretty! She made me a charm bracelet that has butterflies and elephants(my fav) on it and little hearts an other charms, and a necklace that is two strands and ties closed with a ribbon. Then a set of two little stretch bracelets with flowers and butterfly beads. They are really small, so I think I might remake them into one bracelet Mix all the colors together

DOCTOR WHO SWAP????

would a lot of people be interested in a Doctor Who swap if I put one together on the board? We could include all things who-vian in it, so like sarah jane adventures and Torchwood ect.

I have just stated watching Doctor Who (got netflix so I can watch it) started at Eccelston, now I'm on Tennant with Martha Jones. And I LOVE IT!!!! I love all things Scify but this series is ah-mazing. I also started watching Torchwood, which is also mind blowingly cool, and I'm almost finished with all the shows they have on nextflix for that. Anyway I really would like to get a swap going. So I wanted to see who would be up for it.

Pam ^_^ suggested I might request a swap here, in the Swap Request thread. as I'm a Newbie, and looking to swap some quilting fabric. So here goes.

What I'm looking to do:

*Personal Swap (one on one-- several different folks is fine though)
*Each responsible for own postage
*US swappers only for these swaps
*I'm located in Illinois, USA

I would like to collect some autumn colored (golds, greens, reds, orange- you know, all Fall colors cotton fabric for quilting. I'd like to do another scrappy quilt for a family member, and hardly have any quilting fabs at the moment (lost my stash to a move a long time ago and haven't quilted much in the last couple of years). The fabric I'll be using is like 4" x 4" squares, of all the above mentioned colors.

Since I don't have much fabric to swap back, if anyone would like to swap baggies of these kind of fabrics, I can swap back some of my business card holder/gift card holder/mini wallets. Photo shows samples of what I mean by fall colored fabrics- pretty straight forward

Can't figure out how to do more than one photo- so here is a sample of some of the pretty mini wallets I've made in the past- (they change all the time) I'm not sure of what a fair swap value is, but let's talk- PM me or post here

I'll have to see what kinds of fabrics I can find the next time I have more craft funds available.
I'm sure someone will figure something out; if not, there might be a destash swap happening soon where you could swap fabrics for your business card holders.

I should be getting a few bucks next week so I'll keep my eyes peeled for autumn colored fabrics.

Well, that's sweet of you to offer, Monika- you sure are nice. But I was thinking if folks had fat stashes and were maybe looking to thin out their stash, that would work. We'll see how this goes. If not, I can wait for a destash swap. You are too sweet to offer. This place sure has a family feel to it!

I looked at Walmart yesterday, they have some fat quarter sets in lots of gold and orange colors. Didn't see how much they were, though... but it's Walmart so it probably isn't that expensive. I might end up buying some fabrics in those colors for making sleeping masks and such for my shop/craft fair, if I have some appropriately sized pieces left over, I will let you know!

Hi everyone! I know its coming up to xmas and everyone is really busy on their christmas crafting but I wondered if anyone fancied a quick stash swap. I recently organised my craft stuff so I now what I have and where it is. I have fabric, embroidery threads, buttons, beads, fabric paint available to swap and I'm wanting papers and scrapbooking materials.
I'm going to be making my own smashbook (See here if you haven't heard of a smashbook before http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PFsArr4Z1s) in the new year and I've started collecting bits for it but I'm looking for more papers and accesories- ribbons, washi tape, journalling cards, brads stickers, cute paper clips etc so I have a nice big selection of things to choose from.

Hey everyone! I know this isn't really the time of year to be doing swaps as we are all busy making xmas presents, but I like a good swap to get me through the quiet January period. So I thought I'd see if anyone was interested in doing a New Years Resolution swap. We would list a couple of things we want to do in 2013 and our partner would craft accordingly. For example: if I said I wanted to eat more healthily my partner could send me a booklet of healthy recipes. I think it could be really inventive and fun. If I get enough interest I'll post a board, with a sign-up date some time in Jan.

Would anyone be interested in a dog swap? If anyone with a dog is interested then we could do a swap of things for our dogs (dog biscuits, toys etc) I would really love to do this but I am only a newbie here and I can i can only do basic things. (nothing to fancy) Doing this would be really awesome but I would prefer someone from Australia...

On the same lines as Lowe - Would anyone like to a Cat swap? (toys only - my cat is on a diet.) Perhaps we can do a couple cat toys (either store bought or handmade) and something Cat related for the owner?
