Cassie, I had never heard of Hunger Games until 10minutes ago BUT Google is your friend so now I know its a series of books and there a movie coming out next year
I had a quick squint at the website and am suitably intrigued so I'm gonna check if our library has them in stock.

If no-one who is more clued-up is up for a swap, I am, but you'll need to give me a week to catchup

Nikki & Heather: Great minds obviously think alike, cause I was thinking about secret santa too. I also think end of Nov is a good time as there should be time to fit it in round the xmas present crafting for family and friends. It should definately be anonymous rather than a partnered swap.

Cassie, I would love to do a hunger games swap! I love the first book and have heard the second about 3/4 full on audio. What did you have in mind?

I am excited about secret santa now. i like bindii's idea of xmas/winter themed with ornaments open to everyone. *bubbles with excitement*

thats only if ur doing anything for halloween, which I'm not.

edit: i would love to do something for halloween but its just not done here, i dont see any point in making a costume and decorating the house to sit at home all evening and probably not even opening the door for anyone

I live in a shared house where we all still act like students even though we're not, so we'll probably have a party like we did last year. I haven't decided on a costume yet, it has to be suitably eye-catching but NOT tarty.

i live with my parents who believe trick or treat-ing is begging and unchristian. its also their wedding anniversary.

Bindiibabe, Yay! Go read! I love the hunger games and was hooked from page two! It's so full of win! Someone discribed it as the dessert to Harry Potters Main course LOL


Corvus: I was just thinking something small, maybe 2-4 items that deal with the book...

My best friend is home (without her stinking cheating rat of a husband) so we'll probably have a good Halloween, think we're going to an event at the local woods We're gonna make all the kids join in dressing up (even the ones that think they're too old to) just so we can. Last halloween was rubbish cos she wasn't here

I particularly like Halloween cause its when me and the BF first got together.

Heather- do you construct your kids costumes out of black bin bags? Thats what my mum used to do. I even won my brownie halloween party costume prize as a bin-bag bat one year.
